This traditional style "croft" 1.1/2 storey project is virtually complete with only a small number of "snagging" items requiring attention. The Client originally intended to purchase his house kit from a mainland supplier; however their demise required that Kevin and Debbie were required to consider an alternative option. we are delighted that we were able to provide Kevin and Debbie with the appropriate alternative. Adam Chadwick carried out the civils works, E&H Heating carried out the plumbing and heating installation, DC Electrics, the electical installation and Malcolm Smith carried out the decoration works. The client is just waiting for his Completion Certificate, from Building Standards. A number of issues created a variety of irritating delays to the progress of the works; however, our Clients are ready for the big move so that they can complete works on their adjacent property.

We received the original enquiry in July 2013. Having quoted, successfully, for the house build, we made general Planning enquiries, with the Roads Department, in October last year. The project appeared to be "doomed", as the gradient of the access road appeared not to fall with Roads Department guidelines. Following the intercession by Raymond's local councillor, it appeared that a compromise could be achieved. As a result of this, we were instructed to submit a pre-planning enquiry. This was done and after a longish wait, we were lead to believe that a formal Planning Application could be submitted and could expect to receive an early and positive response. we are still waiting....
